Friday Evening Stations of the Cross and Lenten Suppers (There is no charge for the suppers.) Station each Friday from March 7th — April 18th. Stations begin at 6:30 p.m. & supper immediately following. March 7th will be the Men’s Group Fish Fry. The following Fridays will be soup and sandwich hosted by various parish ministries.
CRS Rice Bowl is the Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten faith-in-action program for families and faith communities. Please take a Rice Bowl home and fill it with pocket change during Lent. Then bring your filled Rice Bowl back to the church on Easter weekend. Or, you may write a check to St. Patrick Catholic Church. (Put “Rice Bowl” in the memo line.) Fasting and Abstinence Rules: Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting for Catholics within the age range of 18 through 59. Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence. One full meal is permitted. Two smaller meals are also permitted. Snacks between meals are not permitted. Water, coffee, and tea may be consumed throughout the day.
